An association of parents in the U.S. has deemed the new Britney Spears song "If U Seek Amy" too indecent.
The song has already upset family groups in Australia, who called for a widespread radio ban on the tune, and now the Parents Television Council (PTC) bosses have followed suit.
Parents are complaining to radio stations who are playing "If U Seek Amy" because they feel that the song is obviously referring to a sexual relationship.
Many are urging radio stations not to play the third track from Britney's 'Circus' album between the hours of 6 and 11pm.
“There is no misinterpreting the lyrics to this song. It’s one thing for a song with these lyrics to be included on a CD so that fans who wish to hear it can do so, but it’s an entirely different matter when this song is played over the publicly owned airwaves, especially at a time when children are likely to be in the listening audience,” said Tim Winter, the president of the PTC.
So far, the outcry from parents has not been given much attention from public radio stations as several US top 40 stations are playing the song in heavy rotation, and it currently sits at Number 92 on Billboard's Pop 100 chart.

Dannii Minogue has slammed Britney Spears for upsetting the X Factor contestants by refusing to meet them after her recent performance on the hit reality talent show.
The Aussie judge blasted Britney for not even saying hello to the contestants, when other acts have held a master class with them.
She told Metro: "They were genuinely excited to be in her presence and she only had to say 'Hi' to five acts.
"At that point, I thought, 'What a shame because you've just crushed those contestants'. She didn't have to be like that."
Dannii also revealed that the singer's had the judges lining up like youngsters waiting for class.
She said: "It was hysterical. We were all like little kids at the principal's office. There were so many security guards and PR people and they had to block the whole corridor before she could come out the door."

Did ya'll watch Britney on How I Met Your Mother last night? She was actually pretty funny and a hit with the media and the show received its highest ratings ever!
The Associated Press wrote, "Britney the Trainwreck showed how she can still be Britney the Performer. The 26-year-old pop star, who previously was on a 2006 episode of Will and Grace, appeared fresh-faced and relaxed, capably filling the small role."
The Daily News also wrote that for "those who hang on every one of Britney's career moves, this bold casting decision worked out. Spears proved she can act every bit as well as she can sing, and with some of the nuances she brought to the character, you'd almost swear she'd been there before."
